Well, the afternoon consisted of me madly crocheting in between sips of tea and water (it's been quite sticky and hot here at the moment).
I have been desperate to finish Tom's crochet earflap hat for him to wear at the Georgetown Folk Festival as he and his mates are in a band and I wanted him to look his best (not to mention to do some advertising for my crochet skills!!)
I am very happy with how it turned out, it was a mixture of a few patterns, I can't wait to see the look on his face when he gets it!!!! I was too tired to drive and see him tonight so he will have to wait till the morning to see it!
Mum's poor Anniversary clock was moved here and there to try and get the perfect photo shot! I think it makes a pretty good hatstand don't you!
My Tom will now be kept nice and warm in the Winter and even on those cold tassie summer days :)
Wow....you whip out these things fast! I'm so slowww when it coms to crafting.
ReplyDeleteTom will look nice in his new hat! But, is it that cold right now where you are? So weird for me to hear "cold summer days"
xo,
Sena
Thanks! I have been on a crochet roll!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for Tom to get his hat, I'll post a pic when he wears it!
Sometimes during summer our evenings can get down to 8 degrees celcius, so that's a little cool even in summer :)
I love your new beanie Kate !
ReplyDeleteThanks Clare, he just loved his beanie!
