An afternoon of cupcakes and ammigurumi.......

A cooking show inspired me with beautiful big creative cakes to jump up and make my Grandma's patty cakes with her recipe.

The cake stand is my mums which belonged to her mum and is Royal Albert which I think is so pretty and dainty. I also love the teacosy that mum made isn't it sweet

Talking of tea here is a sweet little item I bought off Etsy that Allana over at http://www.highmaintenancehippy.blogspot.com/  sold to me in her new shop!! I adore it and when I am busy with my Amigurumi making I place my cup of tea here.

I am very excited at the moment because Allana is working on a custom order for me of another coaster which is Little Red Riding Hood!! how lucky!!

Here is my latest Amigurumi creation "Snow White" complete with her red lips and black hair and sweet red hair ribbon. I need to make her legs tonite and sew them on and then she will be ready to go into the etsy shop to sell along with a vintage book on snow white as a set if anyone is interested in any of my children's toys, or as I call them "educational sets" just email me on
my email
I am also willing to do custom orders on any fairytale you choose along with the book included, perhaps for grandchildren or children.
One of my next projects will be a crocheted planet along with a book on planets, I am loving the educational side of my etsy store at the moment :)

Look at her little collar similar to Snow Whites in the fairytale, I created the patterns for her outift.

And another Bambi book to add to my collection, the one on the right is the new book, I was wrapt as I got it so cheap at an op shop and it's in mint condition.
And here is my Enid Blyton collection soo far, I was lucky enough today to find the book on the right and it is in amazing condition with no names written in it.

I will be on the hunt again this week for more children's fairytale books!!
