weekend happenings

My good friend Allana gave me this gorgweous vintage Lamb cot quilt, it's made out of chenille which has always been a favourite of mine.

Allana also gave me some gorgeous baby clothes like this peter rabbit pink suit, so many goodies in a bag she gave me.

Bought these great storage baskets at The Reject Shop, great prices and can fit all my baby gear as it's accumulating
More shelves that mum gave me for all the baby onesies and little godies...

I have been doing lots of cooking lately, here were the ingredients for double choc caramel slice, I found the recipe on the back of the melted choc packet of all places, I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but it's the yummiest slice I have made

A morning at the library left me with a great pile of books

I cannot wait to read the Julia Child's biography, loving cookbooks to at the moment, I couldn't believe how many great cookbooks there were at the local library
